Project Description
The Bullying Recovery Resource Center (BRRC) is a non-profit organization to assist children and parents that are struggling with bullying. They needed a website with a week turn-around, and a way to publish articles and a blog. I made hosting and social media recommendations, designed and built the site with WordPress, then used the website to establish an identity with consistent look and feel. As this organization is still forming, I chose a video of a sad boy for the home page to evoke an emotional response that users can identify with. The organization provides therapeutic peer groups, parent advocacy groups and in some cases legal assistance and parental education, so we added a long page of success stories and an event calendar.
